How Geniuses Fall

Jenna Eun Returns in four years with Her First Full-Length Album,

Pianist and singer-songwriter Jenna Eun presents her latest work after four years. In 2019, she debuted as a member of the band YEVEN, having been selected for Naver Musician League’s album release project. That same year, she was awarded the full presidential scholarship from Berklee College of Music and CJ Cultural Foundation, marking the start of her studies abroad. In 2021, she made her solo debut under the name Jenna Eun, releasing the EP how are we to live alongside an online exhibition.

Having spent the past few years working between Korea and the U.S. as a performer and arranger, Jenna Eun returns home after completing her studies to present her first project since—her first full-length album, How Geniuses Fall.

This album is both a memoir of her twenties and a reflection on the universal moment when one’s illusion of being special begins to collapse. Rooted in pop, yet deeply influenced by jazz and electronic music, the album’s ten tracks affirm her identity as a pianist and composer.

This album is the result of the [Jenna Eun 1st Album, How Geniuses Fall] project on the crowdfunding platform Tumblbug, which successfully exceeded its funding goal. The campaign enabled the production of the album, merchandise, and a website. Designed as an "online liner note," the site www.howgeniusesfall.com offers a digital representation of the physical album, featuring lyrics, song insights, and in-depth stories behind the music.
